Plasma ion nitriding

A thermochemical diffusion process used to enhance wear resistance and surface hardness in a mixture of nitrogen, hydrogen, and carbon gases (optional nitrocarburizing). In this low-pressure process, a potential difference is applied between the part and the furnace wall.

Plasox
