Since 1988, Steel Trattamenti Termici (Heat Treatment) has been a benchmark for north-east Italy for the heat treatment and thermo-chemical treatment of mechanical components and dies in tool steels. The treatments performed range from those involving bulk hardening, to improve the mechanical properties of steel right to the core, to surface hardening, in order to improve its tribological properties. The treated pieces are provided with maximum durability and perfectly comply with the required performance profile.

The strict specifications of BÖHLER UDDEHOLM, world leader in the production of special steel, are applied to treatments. Systems engineering is managed and calibrated in compliance with the AMS (Aerospace Material Specifications) 2750 international protocol.
The seamless synchronisation of plant operations with its logistics, made possible thanks to accurate planning and an advanced company set-up, allows Steel Trattamenti Termici to process orders very quickly while scrupulously keeping to the times required for carrying out treatments.
