The first appointment on the Steel Group 2020 agenda is with SAMUMETAL, a reference showcase for technologies and tools for metalworking, held in Pordenone from the 6th to the 8th of February. More precisely, it’s one of the four events that make up the SAMUEXPO exhibition.
Steel Group will be present at the Pordenone Fiere exhibition center with a broad proposal, including Steel Acciai Speciali (Tool Steels), Steel Trattamenti Termici (Heat Treatment), Steel Lavorazioni Meccaniche (Precision Machining), Steel Tecnologie (Shredders) and Steel Laboratorio Metallurgico (Materials Testing Laboratory), in order to develop new relations and create synergies that reward the substantial investments and the commitment made to further increase the quality and completeness of products and services.
This year, in full harmony with an event that has among its purposes the deepening of the issues that manufacturers and users, and therefore also suppliers and industry, face every day, Steel Group has promoted a conference entitled “Steels for moulds and tools used in the production of components for hybrid and electric vehicles: state of the art and opportunities”, which will be held on February 6th from 12.30 to 13.30 in the Meeting Room of Hall 5 of Pordenone Fiere.
Speaking: Riccardo Zanchetta, Technical Manager for Italy of Uddeholm, Swedish steel maker of which Steel Acciai Speciali is the exclusive distributor for north-eastern Italy.
The conference is focused on the world of special steels in relation to “clean” vehicles, whose affirmation is strongly accelerating. Beginning from an increased environmental awareness, growing innovation needs arise and urgent responses from the entire automotive supply chain are needed.
In addition to enriching the knowledge of all those who will participate, the interesting round table will help to understand how businesses that make components for the automotive industry in the Northeast of Italy are moving with respect to the transformations taking place.
