STEEL Trattamenti Termici's production area has a surface of 4000 mq subdivided in the following production’s departments:
- vacuum heat treatment’s department
- superficial heat treatment’s department
- controlled atmosphere heat treatment’s department
The workshop is equipped with 31 furnaces that include systems for vacuum treatments and controlled atmosphere, plasma and gas nitriding, tempering and stress relievings.
The systems potentiality allow treatment of pieces of weight max. 2 tonnes. The computer system allows to constantly track the materials in treatment.
The mechanical properties of the materials are checked with modern testing equipment. Test reports can be issued to give evidence of positive outcome.
