Plasox ® is a thermochemical surface hardening process conducted at relatively low temperatures, normally comprised between 400 and 550°c in a gaseous mixture of nitrogen (n2), hydrogen (h2) and methane (ch4).
Through plasma technology the atoms of the gas are accelerated towards the surfaces of the pieces by means of strong electrical forces.
